While working in rural New Zealand on a dairy farm, the idea for DEKKD was born. Many businesses and employees face challenges with job search platforms that operate within the normal Monday-Friday, 9-5pm employment format. Requirements for industries that work outside the "norm" include extended working hours, 24/7 rosters, accommodation included, seasonal workers, international workers and more. These continue to fall through the cracks.

Add this to the general slog of sifting through CVs and it's clear something needs to change. DEKKD has set out to fill the gap by creating an app that makes job (or employee) searching as easy as a swipe of the finger. Though originally intended to meet the needs of dairy farmers, DEKKD will work for anyone that is tired of the traditional employment search process.
